Meet Anyiese Rosalie
Your Certified Full Spectrum Doula and Lactation Educator
Becoming a Rose
Anyiese Rosalie (she/they) is an Arizona native who founded Always Supported to give families the kind of support she wished she had when she stepped into motherhood. She nearly died giving birth to her son through an unnecessary cesarean that was presented as an emergency, and the pandemic left her to face the aftermath alone: a postpartum season weighed down by anxiety and depression. That isolation pushed her into back to back trainings, and she walked out a certified full spectrum doula and lactation educator.
A little shy of two years later she welcomed her daughter in triumphant redemption, an unmedicated vaginal birth after cesarean in the water at a freestanding birth center. Proof that the systems built against her could be beaten. She has also defied the odds by breastfeeding both children consecutively for five years, pushing through every obstacle that came her way.
She knows reproductive injustice, medical racism, and Arizona’s grim maternal mortality numbers firsthand, so she devotes her days to BIPOC families as a doula and lactation educator.
Anyiese is a wife, a mother, Black, Mexicana, and Sappony. Being a Rose is more than branding; it is the name her grandmother handed down to her, a name that came from her great grandmother before that. A living line of rosy women that she now continues through her business and by passing it on to her daughter.
Rooted in family, grounded in faith, surrounded by community, watered by local resources, and grown by Arizona's people, she brings a background in early childhood education to her practice to serve the communities that need it the most. Anyiese fiercely advocates for those society too often renders unseen and unheard, offering full spectrum doula services, mentorship, trainings, continuing education, support groups, and community connections. At Always Supported the mantra is simple, strong, and sincere: Here For You.
